VIN Check Español

Who we are

VIN Check is run by LLMpreneur, backed by Vela Partners. We are not a government agency, and we are not NHTSA or NMVTIS.

The free check

The car details and recalls come from NHTSA's public data. Recalls are listed for the car's make, model and year. They don't tell you if this exact car was fixed; check the VIN at nhtsa.gov or ask a dealer.

The full title check

The title check costs $9.99. We text you a payment link; you pay on Stripe's page, never on ours. Your report comes back in the same chat. The data comes from NMVTIS through an approved provider, and each report includes the NMVTIS consumer disclaimer.

NMVTIS does not have every car, and some states report late. A report can't tell you everything about a car. A clean report is not a clean car. Have a mechanic look at it before you pay.

Refunds

If the title database has no record of the VIN at all, or we can't send your report, we refund the $9.99. Text us to ask.

Limits

We give you records, not advice. You decide whether to buy. Our liability is limited to what you paid us for the report.
